I have a website that my company uses frequently and it requires a username and password to login. I need to find a way that will automate this login process and post it out as a shortcut.
I have tried the http://user:password@website.com from the run command and although it opens the page successfully it doesn?t apply the user and password.
I have applied the appropriate registry hacks for IE7 to turn this feature back on.
I have Googled for ages and find myself going round in ever decreasing circles.
I am sure there must be a succinct answer out there somewhere but my head is spinning trying to find it.
My Environment is W2k3 Server, Mostly WinXP desktops & some Linux based TS clients on a W2k3Terminal server all with IE7.
