How can I track active directory changes in real time ?

I know how I can manually track the employment activities that they make into active directory. But manual process does not provides the information in real time.
Does anyone have suggestion about any good solution that can perform successful auditing of active directory into real time as one of my clients has asked me to do a full audit of his AD environment.
