HOW DO CLEARLY DEFINED POLICIES AND PROCEDURES HELP US IN THE WORK PLACE

by istevie . Updated 17 years, 2 months ago

Change Management and the need to develop, maintain and progress industry standard policies and procedures in the work environment is a growing concern in the work place as huge amount of resources are being spent yearly training and retraining staff at all levels and organizations are not getting the best out of these, neither can they stop as people continue to be upwardly mobile.

The best use of such trainings come from the documentation of processes and procedures specific to these organizations and derived from the experiences of trained professionals who have worked for these organizations, potentially saving the organzations millions both in short and long term.

People spend long hours working and getting burnouts and unable to fully account for how their time was spent and worst still, unable to define the direction of their career.

This is not healthy for both the organization and the work force.

What methodology can best be used to condense, extract ,document and progress as policies, processes and procedures; work processes that have been known to work for an organizations, so that cotinuity of business can be assured, and clients who have long relied on the good quality services derived from these organizations wont be disappointed, if not sooner, later.
