My clients log into the domain over a cisco 3000 vpn concentrator.
All that I want to do is change the server from happy1 in the abc.net domain to happy2 in the 123.net domain. Every time I make the change after a few moments it tries to authenticate me to the global catalog of the abc.net domain. I wante it to authenticate to the Global Catalog of the 123.net domain. When I am on site these actions go through smooth without a hitch.
Only when I try to do it over the vpn do I get a problem. On the vpn concentrator I’ve added both the dns servers of abc.net and 123.net. Under Split DNS i’ve added 12.net and abc.net.
No matter what I try, it seems like it jsut doesnt want to let me swithc the exhcnage server from abc.net to 123.net.
Also, If I start from scratch, I can set a user up under 123.net fine.
PLEASE HELP…..
