How do I combine 6 JPGs into 1 big pic using Paint Shop Pro?

I have a scanner that will only scan pieces about page size. But I have a small poster to scan and I want to create one JPG image of it. I scanned the 6 parts of the poster but I can’t figure out how to combine them into one JPG using my Paint Shop Pro v 6.01,
I really have messed with this for a while. I tried creating a new file and copying and pasting the images into it. But they all seem to just center themselves or something. I am very confused as to how to do this. I have tried using the HELP in PSP and can’t figure out how to do this. Can someone give me a quickie basics learning lesson?
