How do I delete history in Media Player?

I am running Windows Media Player for XP. I have yet to find an option to delete the list of recently played files that appear in the media player’s file menu. I checked “options” in the tools menu and I did not see anything. Please advise me howto accomplish this seemly simple task. Thanks in advance for your help!
