Although I have sucessfully disables the right click function to limit access to the ‘task bar’, ‘start’ button, and desktop using GPO’s I cant find anything that stops my users right clicking on ‘All Programs’ and pulling up a context menu that allows them instant access to Explorer using the ‘explore’ option.
I CAN limit it on an individual user basis by right clicking ‘Start’, then ‘properties’ etc whilst losgged onto their account but I dont understand why I dont have the functionality to do this using Group Policy.
What is the standard method of limiting access to this function?
I have tried the system suggested elsewhere on various websites by editing the registry but I dont know how to automate this process and dont fancy repeating this process on over 150 machines and many more users!
I run a win2000 server based Active Directory network with all machines running WinXP Prof.
Many Thanks,
