How do I fix this networking problem?

by jrubex . Updated 15 years, 4 months ago

Below is the scenario:

The company has:
2 servers (one acting as a DC and the other an ISA
1 NEXXT 8 port switch (non-managed)
A Greendot connection
3 desktop computers
1 2-Port KVM Switch
Both Servers have Windows 2003 Small Business Server installed

Services to be run on both servers:

Server 1: Domain Controller
Active Directory
DNS
DHCP
Server 2: ISA Server
ISA 2006
Mc Afee Security Shield

What I have done so far on the DC:
Install the OS
Install Active Directory, DNS and DHCP and configured them
Configure TCP/IP:
i.p : 192.168.1.6
sn: 255.255.255.0
gt: 192.168.1.1

dns: 192.168.1.6

What i have done on the ISA:
Install the OS
Configure TCP/IP:
i.p: 192.168.1.1
sn: 255.255.255.0
gt: BLANK

dns: 192.168.1.6

purchased an Ethernet to usb adapter to connect the greendot to the ISA server. It has a dynamic ip of:

192.168.10.7
255.255.255.0
192.168.10.1

dns 192.168.10.7

now since the switch is not managed i have no idea how to add the isa server to the domain . also I am not getting any addresses on any of the client systems so I cant even try to add them to the domain. All systems including the ISA server are currently attached to the switch and none would add to the domain.

HELP 🙂
