Hi, Hoping for any help or guidence toward relevant resources please.
A third party company supplied us with a Netscreen firewall and a VPN policy and client software to allow our remote users to access our Lotus Domino server to replicate their email and other database.
On the same server I have set up a shared folder and given the remote users full access using their AD user name for the domain.
I’ve set up a short-cut to the folder on their desktop.
They get an Internet connection, launch the VPN client successfully. But then when they try to access the share via the short-cut, they get a password box. The password box does not respond to their domain username and password as it would if they were in the building plugged into the network.
I guess the problem is because they are not being authenticated on to the domain… Not sure what the 3rd part people did to allow direct access to the Notes server, maybe diect access to the port number?
Any pointers much appreciate, sorry for the long post.
Thanks
Jim
