How do you guys keep your Licensing safe?

I???m relatively new to the Network administrator???s position, but I wanted input on how to keep track of the physical licensing I have from various software vendors. Since some of the licenses we have like SQL Server, Windows Server, ect.. are fairly expensive, what are the best practices for keeping them safe? Do you guys use safes? Is it standard to keep them in folders at your office? Any input is appreciated.
