how does one monitor file activity on an sbs 2003 server

hi all. im working with a sbs 2003 rc2 server and i need to monitor file movements/edits ect.

is there an inbuilt process in 2003 that i can enable or modify, and if not, any recommendations on what programs to use to monitor and log the files?
