How does Techrepublic do it?

I’ve looked for answers to the question: How do I send out HTML emails? I’ve found a lot of ‘don’t knows’ and some ads for software to create HTML emails – but the professionals don’t do that.

Somehow they get the email client to display a page sitting on the originators web site – I’m sure Techrepublic do this. What surprises me is that no-one appears to have asked: How do Techrepublic do it?

I ask, because I would like to emulate it for my new site www.soundawesome.com …

Any help?
