HOW HOT IS HOT

I have a AMD Athelon XP 1700 system. I have couple if intermal fans. The system is starting to lock up intermitenly. I noticed the bios says cpu temp is 120 f and intermal is 110 f.. What should the temps be to aviod problems.. thanks
