how i allow clients to work from home?

I have about 12 clients in my network , i wanna to provide them with the acility of working from home..what is the best way to use for remote users? will it be RAS or VPN ..actully cost and security is great issues..i would like a technical descriptions for what should i implement along with pros of cons of the option provided! i’m willing to spend 1000points for well organized and informative answers
