I failed my first attempt….and passed at my second…

You should never tell your lab exam date to everyone.. that itself can build up stress..as everyone start asking.. how ready you are..and reminding that it is close…is the last thing you need to be stressed up..
Before I attend the Lab exam, I went to the site 2 times, just so.. I could go without a panic…
Trust me you do not need any interruptions even on the slightest way…on that day
Then at the exam room… one thing I did wrong was, not asking questions as much as i wanted to get clarifications.. from the proctor..which should not be the case.. but the second time.. I used that resource for the best of my advantage…
The best carried away part is spending much time more than half of the allotted lab time entering the configurations.
seven IP phones in the lab, so time gets added without to your knowing.. that is what happened to me at first…
Mainly attending the Boot camp at WinNET under Harith’s Instructions I was able to gain all knowledge in exam tips and tricks and Cisco exam testing techniques…ect..which was very very useful…..which helped me to pass at my second attempt..
Now i wish I did attend to this at my first time… At first attempt I thought its too expensive.. but knowing by experience now i know the cost of failing vs investment in a Boot Camp ….
What I learned is to read the entire lab book, without jump starting… Get an overview in short.. This will give a good understanding on the exam requirements…
Then methodically go on with the configurations.. Configure Cisco CallManager Groups and Date/Time Groups, define Regions, SRST References. locations, Device Pools.. so on and so forth..

The best part is.. we use different flows, techniques to save time.. and there is no best strategy that fits all .. but you should select what fits best for you..and definitively a trainer can help you with this..
