My x wife just called me and asked how much I wsa going to spend on my daughters first car. It seems, mommy had bought the cell phone. So daddy gets to pay for the car. In this case, I think mom has every intention of helping me.
The thing is, the only time my x wife calls is when she wants money. My default ring tone was ‘Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers’ by ZZ Top(fitting, considering we were pretty trashed when we hooked up). But, that ring tone is the default. I decided…. You know, in that she only calls for money, that I should get the ring tone money just for her. Yuk a hey, at least I will know it’s her when the bloody phone rings.
Don’t get me wrong… I’ve never said no to any of her requests for money, in that I know it is being spent on my daughter. But, it annoys me to no end when I only get calls for money.
Like, steph got her report card today. She got all A’s except for a few lower grades. Now, that would be a welcome call. Or a call when she is sick to let me know. But, no. As when I was married to this woman, the only time I am told anything is when she needs something from me.
Yea, ok…. I’m done waaing. I feel better. Nothing has changed, but I know I can’t be alone in this situation. God, I hope not anyway. Misery loves company.
