How to add or change a TCP/IP port for O

Dear Sir,
We have just started using DataDirect SequeLink program which acts as a series of standards-based client/server middleware products that allow clients to access databases on multiple servers using existing operating system and network infrastructures.
It creates a service of connecting to each database, but when I want to create a new service it asks me for a tcp/ip port, when I write in a new port number ,it starts the service but it fails to make a connection. The error being “The Service Name doesn’t correspond to the Port”.
