How to amuse a 15 year old boy with a break

Thing Two (my boy) broke his collar bone and will be out of commission wearing a brace for about 8 weeks.

Any ideas how to keep him amuse other than just to do IM chatting all day long?

Maybe I can get him to start playing with one of the guitars more, now that he will have more free time? I just got a book with Christmas tabliture in it.

Looking to build some new bridges and strengthen some old ones.
