How to Backup Apple Mail Email Database Automatically?

How can we setup Apple Mail to Backup its Email Database automatically after regular interval of time. I know Time Machine is one option but the problem with Time Machine is that it backs up all the other folders along with it and restoring emails is a complete mess with it. I am looking for a smarter solution to backup apple mail that can automate itself after regular interval of time that I decide.
