How to configure Cisco 2950 switch port for uplink to Dlink DES-1024 switch

I have a cisco 2950 switch which I would like to uplink to a Dlink DES-1024 unmanaged switch.
I understand for connection between two cisco switches we create trunk ports on both switches. How about connecting the Dlink DES-1024 unamanged switch to a Cisco 2950, do we make it a trunk or just have it as an access port?
