How to configure linux to connect to other VPN

I have a server running Red Hat Linux 3.2.2-5. I want to connect my server with other server using VPN. I have all information such as private IP and also preshared key.

May i know how i want to do it? Can somebody teach me or give the url that teach how to do this.
