Hi folks, hope someone can help me here. We have two networks in
the building, Reprographics and Accounting
Repro runs on 192.9.100.xxx
Acc runs on 128.0.0.xxx
All internet access for Accounts is through the sbs which has two
network cards, one for each ip.
I work on the Repro LAN which is a straightforward LAN with a
Router/ firewall/modem. (Netgear DG834) but I would like to link the
two networks, am I right in assuming a static route in the router
would do this? I have tried it but the sbs is essentially routing for all
the pc’s on the accounting LAN so I used these settings but it didn’t
work:
Destination IP 192.9.100.100 (DG834)
subnet 255.255.255.0 (both LANs use this)
Gateway IP Address 128.0.0.250 (sbs2003)
