how to connect two netware server

how to connect two netware server
I have two Novell servers 5.1 the primary server with 40 licenses installed two Network card. And a backup server installed Novell 5.1 one network card no license

The secondary server to be used as standby server with no additional third party software
I want from time to time to transfer data from the primary server to the secondary server
I connect the primary server one network card directly to the secondary server and the second card to the hub, I try to see the secondary server from the primary server no luck
Is there any thing I do wrong or any other idea that I could try. If you have a better Idea a detail explanation will be appreciated.
