For a long time I haven’t known how to delete files (from Windows Explorer) that have been left over from previous uninstalled programs. I uninstalled the most recent version of AVG AntiVirus software 2 weeks and wanted to get rid of all the other “AVG” stuff. This
incudes .dll, .exe, .txt, file folders, etc. I now have 100’s of these files left over. They just won’t delete because they are no longer associated with their parent file. RevUninstall and many other programs like that only uninstall and delete “programs” currently installed, not “individual files” left over from previous installs. Do you know of any programs, hopefully free, or methods that can “delete” all of the orphan files no longer associated with their parent files? I would greatly appreciate any help with this scenario!
Thanks very much,
Bob!!!
