How to detect a Hardware Model?

I have a Laptop of NEC, with model VA12HR
i have asked from the company but answer was that the model is old and we have stopped working on it. Anyways, i am unable to detect the model number/model of its VGA and LAN card, as different parts/hardwares are made of different companies, many of my friends suggested me to run online scan, install SANDRA, DRIVER DETECTIVE, HARDWARE SCAN. But they only detect the models of the hardwares which are properly working and are Installed, they don’t check the both model which are not installed, i want to know that is there any way or method by which it’s easy to find the model of these both hardwares and so i may get it’s software.
