how to fix a problem in my usb flash

i formatted my PC with with my flash connected behind the computer.after i was done formatting using the NFTS,i struggled to open the flash but it read “insert a disk’ then it asked me to format . when i struggled to format the flash, i will read ” windows cannot complete formatting” please someone help.
