How to impose IT policy?

by arlado . Updated 20 years, 4 months ago

Hello all. I?m the system administrator in our office and we already have office policy for each division to use only the computers assign to them. To really impose the policy, I set each user (80+ users) the resources that they?re permitted or restricted. My problem is, there are some supervisors during their overtime at night would want to use other computers not assign to them (physical access). And because I set passwords upon opening the computers and logon in the domain they will call me (when I?m already home) asking for the access password. If I won?t give them the password, they will insist and say that their work is badly needed and they have to rush it or else I will be the cause of the delay. I also posted a copy of our policy in each office bulletin but maybe they don’t care. Anybody who can please give me advice?

Thanks…
Arlado
