how to Join a Windows 2003 server to an existing Windows 2000 Domain.

I wonder if anyone has had this scenario before. I need to join a Win 2003 server to an existing Win 2000 domain. The win 2000 domain has a back-up controller as well as the controller itself. Can I add, the win 2003 as a stand alone server? Or is there more to it! As I suspect, any advice would be greatly received.
