How to manage name and file structure of a file server any advices ?

Hi everybody,

I am working in a company were we have a serious probleme with the files management.

Many users dont give a date to their files like : 2007/01/15 – File name and a correct name.

Do you know where i can find on internet a method who explain which is the best way to organize a file server ?
