How to Prevent Users from Moving Shared Directories

Hi,

Some of the users on our server have lazy fingers and constantly move the whole directories to somewhere else, and they are not even aware of that. We often have to spend a lot of time looking for the missing subdirectories.

Is there any good solution for this? I’ve googled around, but didn’t seem to find a good fit. Either 3rd-party program, little script, registry editing technique or any other ideas are welcomed. Please advice. Thanks.

We are using Win Server 2003 and Most of our users are using Win XP.
