How to remove winxp.exe virus????

How to remove winxp.exe virus?? i have tried many registry tools to clean this virus..bt no use..still not able to remove this virus…i am using symantec antivirus updated version..i scanned in safe mode and also done regedit to find the file in registry..and i found the winxp.exe in registry and i deleted too..then when restart it is still there in the system…

PLEASE GIVE ME A COMLETE SOLUTION TO REMOVE THIS VIRUS…
