How to serialize a Form.?

I have created a form, to collect information from visitors to my web site, and I would like to add a serial number to each e-mail sent to me. Much like a hit counter, that advances (is indexed) after each time the form is used. I could then use it form member number, letter number or what ever the form’s use dictated.

I’m using Front page 2000, and do not see any form features that would accomplish this. Perhaps there is some kind of VB scriping that I could utilize.???

Anyone with ideason this one.? Help would be appreciated.
