How to Share 250GB External Hard Drive?

Hi Experts,

I have 250GB external hard drive and share it to all user on LAN. I connected it with windows 2003 server and shared, but i cannot see security tab under sharing option.users on the LAN can see the shareed drive but cannot open. it is giving an error ‘you do not have the permission to open it ……’.I tried from windows XP professional machine also but the result is same.I am able to share my USB Flash Disks,floppy, and CD Drive etc.. but only 250 GB is making problem. I have tried another 250GB hard disk also but same problem exists. so I think its not the problem with that Hard Drive.
Any Ideas? Please advise me.
