how to solve heat from desktop?

Hi

My desktop is inside my bedroom, after using the desktop for few hours, the room will started to get warm and I will need to turn on the air-conditioner. It’s quite obvious its the heat from desktop ( and two of my monitors). I heard about water-cooling system for the desktop. Can it work? and is there a way to reduce heat produced by desktop? thanks
