How to take Backup on Multiple tapes.

I have single tape drive on the exchange server 2003. Here the size of the database files is exceeding the limit of the tape. It requires more that one tape to take the backup. After the first tape takes the backup and gets full it asks for another tape. When I enter another tape it does not mount and fails.
Tried throught various possibilities. Failed. Please Help.
