Hai guys!
here is my problem.
I bought US Robotics 9110 ADSL Single port Wireless Router.
and I connect it with my Desktop PC using wired connection. I didnt setup any networks. just did the basic ADSL setups. and my internet is working properly. BUT I didnt use my wireless.
Now recently I bought a CNet CWD845 Wireless 54Mbps USB Dongle. so I can share the internet with my dads laptop.
I did all necessary settings which is mention in their manual.
Router Settings:
SSID:aaaaa
WEP only
64 bit
ASCII
passkey – anes
then it generate a network key.
SSID Broadcast – enabled
Wireless – enabled
NAT – enabled
DHCP – enabled
( Ididnt do any router setups such as static routing or RIP )
NOW
I could not find my router using my laptop.
They said better to disabled MS ZERO, so i disabled. and I using RALINK Wireless Utility, Which is prefered by the CNET dongle Manual.
Im using the latest router firmware.
