How to use gpedit if it is disabled

by vsboxerboy . Updated 18 years, 9 months ago

I was in the process of editing the group policy when I used the feature to block all but the programs that I listed. I typed gpedit.mxc by mistake and now I can’t get back into the policy editor. To make matters worse, this is the administrator account and the only other programs I unblocked are internet explorer, AIM, and iTunes. Luckily, if worse comes to worse I can send my files via AIM to another computer and reinstall windows but is there ANY way to gain access to the group policy editor after disabling it? I also have a guest account active that I can get on as well. Thanks
~Sonny
