How-To Windows Server 2008 for home network

by seyersoft . Updated 17 years, 7 months ago

OK, I attended the Heroes Happen Here event and got myself a copy of Windows Server 2008. I’ve got myself a Dell PowerEdge T105 Server and would like to set it up to act as a file/print server on my home network. My home network consists of 3 XP machines and 2 Vista PCs. Everything is connected to my Linksys wireless router (which supplies the PCs with their IP addresses). Are there any tutorials out there on how to go about setting this up? How about recommendations for a Windows Server 2008 book that could walk a complete beginner through this?

Regards,
-J.-
