How would I have small image particles fly on click?

I need to have some particles inside my game behind the pc. I dont know how to do this but i moderately understand java script. Im currently using tsparticles for the background but i need something kind of like cookie clicker where cookie particles fly off the cookie on click. Any help will be appreciated thanks!
