HP 1100 Laserjet

I purchased 4 of these working HP 1100 Laserjet printers and they were shipped to my house. 2 of them work with no problem and two will not. On the working ones I hear the motor power on then the three lights start flashing in rotation. Then the light stays solid on the right and the printer is ready to go. The two printers function fine.
On the non working ones I do not here the motor power on. Then the three lights start flashing in rotation. Then the light on the right stops in position and just keeps flashing. The printer will not function.
Can anybody help me resolve my problem??
