We use HP 890C printers in our office and are experiencing the following problem: the printer will produce good quality prints with a new cartridge installed then unexplainably print as if it were nearly out of ink (half lines, faded print, skipped lines, etc) this happens, usually, the next day after installation. Sometimes it happens the same day! The cartridges are nowhere near empty. If you shake them you can tell they have ink in them. We have tried realigning, cleaning, priming, over and over again. In one week I had to use over a dozen new cartridges in order to keep printing!
The printers are about three years old and run, perhaps, 50 or more prints per day during the week. Is it possible that age and use has something to do with it?
