I have HP 8290e (External) CD writer on win2k pro system. Using HP RecordNow software and 700MB/80MB size CDR. All software/Driver versions are latest.
Issues :
1. Can record audio CD but not able to play in any other cd drive or Stereo systemother then HP CD Drive. (700 MB CDs) (Only HP CD Writer recognizes the created CD as Audio CD)
2. If I use 650MB/74 Min CDR , CDs can be played in all the systems / cd drives but does not recognize 1st track. Need to manually forward to the 2nd track and thereafter cd operation is normal “Audio CD”.
3. Tried using Nero , Nero does not actually writes on the disc. It writes on to virtual drive or create some image file. Also even my CD writer is connected , when I go to Menu Recorder – Choose Recorder , I only see Image Recorder – Adapter : Virtual device . I do not see my CD writer.
Any suggestion / solution / Drivers are highly appreciated.
