hp deskjet 632c is making smileys

when ever i type sumthing in word xp the printer acts like it bout to do sumthin then it quits for a while then the orange light comes up for like the feed paper light comes on and i hit that button then it startes to print 1 line of smiles and black hearts when i juss try to do a test page i get the same thing in the beginging but nothing prints now what is even weirder is that another friend of mine is have the same thing happen to his HP photo s.1115 but i don’t care bout his i juss need the 632c to work
