HP f2105 no signal input

Hi. My computer monitor, HP f2105, has recently decided to go on strike. I am getting the no signal input message. I have tried turning it on and off, unplugging it, waiting 5 seconds and turning it back on, nothing works. I’m not sure I could take this computer apart and check things out but I am willing to try some simple things if someone wold be so kind as to pass along a few helpful hints.
