Hp laserjet 1100 C4224A

I have a problem with my printer. The print is very very light. I have cleaned it and put in new toner, checked the setup and I can’t seem to find the problem. The copier on my printer also copies very light.
HELP PLEASE. I really do like the 1100 because of the copy feature on the front and would like to keep using it.
