HP Laserjet 3200 79 Service Error

Installed the latest firmware upgrade from HP that was designed to fix the 79 Service Error along with some other problems. The configuration printout confirms that the update was installed. The customer returned the machine after a few days and perfectly described still existing problems that the upgrade was supposed to fix. I have not personally seen the machine fail. Any suggestions?
