Hp ml370 proliant server keeps restarting

I hav on my network ml370 proliant server running windows 2000 advaced server. recently i started expriencing a problem. it keeps restarting any time it is connected to the network. and it also sends an administrative shortdown of some of the workstations on the network. Help needed please ASAP.
