HP Recovery Disks

Hi… I am trying to perform a HP recovery from purchased disks. The recovery seems to go well (about 1 hour per disk X 3 disks), then it says its done and its time to restart. The restart takes me into windows, then an autorun program starts and goes to a blue screen that says, “do NOT turn off your pc”, “messages may appear, ignore them until finished”, and a progress bar (of sorts) appears at the bottom. Here is where the screen (and mouse) freezes, and I cannot seem to move beyond this, unless I restart and then it just goes back to the same screen. Any ideas??
