HP ZE5170 Sound Quit Working – Help….

by bubba32327 . Updated 18 years, 1 month ago

I have been restoring the OS in this unit that was passed down to me from my son. The MB mounted sound/audio device was working fine yesterday but all of a sudden I notice the speaker icon was gone from the task bar. When I began to look for it I discovered the sound device is no longer there. I haven’t been doing anything major but installing the usual security precautions, ZA, AVG, Spyware Blaster, SpywareGard, FireFox, and doing the MS updates. I would sincerely appreciate any knowledgeable parties reviewing my HJT log below and letting me know their suggestions in response here. Thanks in advance,

Jer
