HP7410 All in One

I have an HP 7410 All In One. I had very few problems with this printer until I purchased a new laptop with Vista. For some reason from time to time I cannot use the scanner. I have uninstalled the software/drivers and re installed usin both the cd and the HP site drivers. This time neither one of them seem to solve the problem. I have checked for updates, patches…everything I can think of. If you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. God Bless, Sandy
